Swift Water Rescue (SRT) - June 4th, 5th, 7th, 8th

Working with local businesses, we can support YCKC members to continue to develop their river rescue skills.The 2025 Course will hosted by Tatshenshini Expediting.

June 4th and 5th sessions will be evening sessions at the YCKC Bins in Whitehorse. June 7th and 8th will happen out at Blanchard Maintenance Camp. Participants are required to provide their own food and camping gear, as well as have a 25/26 YCKC Membership.

Club boats, paddles, helmets, and PFDs are available to use, though it is recommended to bring your own PFD for comfort. IF you would like to use a personal boat, please ensure it is clean and debris free.

An open session available for everyone, from trying sitting in a boat to working on their flat water freestyle to those who just want to share paddling stories. Kids welcomed!
